ABOUT MARK ENGEL:
Mark Engel is the co-founder and Executive Director of Restoration House Ministries International (RHMI). This Kingdom-focused ministry exists to develop a regional House of Prayer in the Canton, Ohio area; to develop a personal, transformational prayer ministry that brings individual believers healing and hope; to develop a practical training center to equip believers for Spirit-filled life and ministry and to assist those with a vision for church planting and development.
In order to launch RHMI, Mark resigned his position as Senior Pastor of First Friends Church of Canton, Ohio on June 30, 2008, the primary ministry role in which he has served since 1997. Mark has been married to Terri for 28 years. Terri finds fulfillment ministering as a speaker/teacher, mentor to women, prayer minister and intercessory worshiper. They are blessed to be the parents of three adult children.
Mark and Terri served together for 10 years (1985 - 1995) as missionaries to Taiwan with a ministry focus of evangelism, church planting and leadership training. Before their Taiwan assignment, they pastored in Cleveland, Ohio for 5 years (1980 - 1985). Mark began in the gospel ministry 30 years ago as the Youth Pastor at First Friends (1978 - 1980).
Mark has served on a number of denominational boards and as an associate trainer and board member of a mission organization whose focus is training church leaders in a "creative access" country in East Asia. He has served Malone College as an adjunct professor of Missions/Cross-Cultural Ministry and as a member of the Advisory Council of the School of Theology. He was named the Malone College Alumnus of the Year in 2000. Mark is active in the leadership of the Canton Ministerial Association (CMA) and relates to other ministerial alliances. His heart is to see a unified Church used of God to transform his city.
In 2001 Aphesis Inc., a non-profit social service organization in Canton honored Mark as the Pastor of the Year. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Economics and Christian Ministries from Malone College (1978) and a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from Ashland Theological Seminary (1982).
Mark is a work in process on the journey of grace. His heart is captured in the vision God has given for RHMI:

To raise up a generation of worshipping intercessors and prophetic, anointed messengers who give themselves in a lifestyle of devoted intimacy with Jesus to advance Christ's Kingdom through revival in the Church and a great harvest of souls among the nations.
