A BRIEF HISTORY:

After nearly 30 years of ministry in both U. S. local church and foreign missionary settings, God called Mark and Terri Engel to enter a new season of ministry. In answer to that calling, they founded Restoration House Ministries International, Inc. (RHMI) with a four-fold ministry focus: 1) Corporate Intercessory Worship (Harp & Bowl Intercession); 2) Personal transformational prayer ministry; 3) Training Believers in Spirit-filled life and ministry; and 4) Providing assistance to those seeking to strengthen existing ministries and/or pioneer new ministries. Friends of the ministry gathered on August 8, 2008 to launch the House of Prayer. Beginning in September 2008, RHMI has engaged in weekly times of training and corporate intercessory worship at the Cornerstone Chapel (5205 Portage Street N.W. N. Canton, Ohio). RHMI is incorporated as a non-profit corporation with the State of Ohio. In 2008 the Internal Revenue Service granted RHMI tax-exempt status as a public charity under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code making charitable contributions to RHMI tax deductible.
